Avengers Vs. Agents of Atlas #1

“Is this an Atlas book? Is their ongoing still canceled? Then I will be buying this and loving every page filled with gun-toting gorillas, Uranians, Greek sirens and an Asian spy from the 1950s. I swear that makes sense if you read the books.” –Brett

Captain America #602

“Cap. Is. Back. Okay, so Reborn #6 hasn’t come out yet, but shh. Brubaker brings Steve Rogers back from the dead and while I’m hesitant about revival stories, Bru has proven worthy of faith in the story.” –Brett

“Cap is back and so is his book. ‘Two Americas’ tells the tale of two Captains. If you’re thinking Steve Rogers and James ‘Bucky’ Barnes, but you’d be wrong; one of them is the whacked out Commie-hating racist Steve Rogers lookalike from the 50′s.The other one is either the real Steve or maybe…Bucky. Should this book be retitled, ‘Three Americas?’ Maybe the star of Ugly Betty shows up and there would be “Four Americas!” –Mike Buzzelli

Dark Avengers #13

“This issue promises to reveal long unaswered questions about Bob Reynolds, the Sentry, but will they answer this these questions: ‘Why is Marvel’s alleged most powerful superhero the first one down in every guest-starring appearance?’ or ‘Why is such an unpopular hero still in The Avengers, when author Brian Bendis wiped out all the good Avengers, like the Vision, Scarlet Witch and the Wasp?’” –Mike Buzzelli

Incredible Hercules #140

“This book was a great read before, but with the “War on Olympus” it’s been rocking even more! Wolverine seems a little unnecessary, but if I must suffer some Adamantium for the rest of the goodness then I do so willingly. Throw in some Agents of Atlas action and I am in love.” –Brett

Mighty Avengers #33

“The Mighty Avengers battle Crusher Creel, the Absorbing Man, who has absorbed the power of the cosmic cube, but to stop him they have to lay the H.A.M.M.E.R down and take on Osborn’s evil Avengers (well, most of them are evil; one’s a nutjob and one is the god of war and he just likes to kill things).” –Mike Buzzelli

Uncanny X-Men #520

“It’s hard to know what’s going on in the X Side of the Universe when after Cyclops leads his people to their own island nation of Utopia (ironic foreshadowing, anyone?) previews of this issue say that ‘in San Francisco, a supermob is making life hard in Chinatown…somebody call the X-Men!’ Wouldn’t they need NSA to check their passports before they even set foot on US soil? Whatever the horrible details are, the Fraction/Land team still provide drama and humor, however unintended.” –Sean
